Pet Shop Boys in action / Gmail
I was quite amazed to read that the Pet Shop Boys will:
1) be performing in Trafalgar Square on Sept. 12 for free. They have composed a new soundtrack to the silent film "Battleship Potemkin" and they will perform it live with Dresdener Sinfoniker while the film plays in the background.
2) have remixed the new Rammstein song "Mein Teil" by now and it should be coming out by the end of August. The song is about the German cannibal who was convicted about 6 months ago. Rammstein and PSB sounds like a bizarre combo.
In other news, I just got a gmail account and have been shooting a lot of archival stuff over there for safe(?)keeping and for the datamining pleasure of the folks at google. It is nice to have a 1GB bit bucket.
